Cancellation Policy:
The purpose of AkPA's conference refund policy is to save you money. AkPA runs its conferences on a tight budget, which means we have to keep food and printing costs at a minimum. We give hotel catering staff and other food service providers the exact number of meals to prepare for events based on the number of people registered. We also print registration packets and other materials before the conference based again on the exact number of people registered. If you cancel at the last minute, AkPA is left paying for additional food and printed materials. Therefore, to keep our costs and your registration fees low, we can’t offer last-minute refunds, except for on a case by case basis for certain emergencies. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.

Cancellations received prior to March 25, 2026 at 12:01 am will receive a refund of the registration payment minus a $300 administrative fee. There will be NO refund for cancellations received after March 25; however, late requests for refunds due to a family emergency will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If proper documentation of an emergency is submitted, a credit voucher will be provided to be used within one calendar year towards another AkPA conference.

All cancellations must be submitted via email to Tammy Thiel, Executive Director, at tthiel@nextwavegroup.net. Refunds will be processed within 21 days of the last day of the conference (April 11, 2026).

I understand that by selecting “Complete Registration”, I agree to the above cancellation policy.
